The Necessary Penguins are coming to the 2026 OUF! Festival with a special bilingual “penguin pop up” we’re calling Ces pingouins qui se prennent pour des pop stars (Penguins Who Think They’re Pop Stars).

The OUF! Festival is a community-driven Fringe festival that runs alongside Montreal’s world renown Casteliers puppetry festival and strives to bring people together to explore and experiment with the art of puppetry. From March 3 to 9, dive into a true puppetry laboratory where the rules are meant to be broken, and where the unexpected becomes the norm.
