Driving Information

The Staircase is located at 27 Dundurn Street North in Central-West Hamilton, close to the Locke Street South neighborhood. Free parking is available in the Staircase’s lot off of Hunt Street. Additional parking is available at The Hamilton Alliance Chinese Church on Breadlebane Street (click here for additional parking information).

Public Transit

Several Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) bus routes stop near the theatre, including the 1, 5, 7, 10, and 20 buses. Visit Hamilton.ca for additional transit information.

Accessibility

The Staircase’s Studio Theatre is accessible via a ramp in the back parking lot. The theatre is served by multiple HSR routes, and all HSR vehicles have Accessible Low Floors with ramps able to accommodate wheelchairs and scooters up to
76 cm (30 inches) wide by 122 cm (48 inches) long. Door-to-door accessible transit is also available throughout Hamilton through DARTS Transit.
